You have become exceptionally good at reading everybody else.
The hungry cry. The overtired frantic energy.
The hand disappearing down your top. The “MUUUUUM” from three rooms away.
You feed. You carry. You hold. You soothe. You anticipate. You respond.
You have become fluent in everybody else’s needs.
Meanwhile, your own body has been through a lot.
Birth. Stretching. Tearing. Stitching. Healing. Hormonal shifts. Feeding. Being climbed over. Being touched constantly. Being examined. Being needed.
Your Pussy and your sexuality may feel like forgotten territory.
Most likely she feels different
And it’s normal for her to respond differently too.
Somewhere amongst all that mothering, this entire part of your body can become somewhere you only think about when:
- something hurts
- you’re having sex
- you’re at a medical appointment
- or somebody else wants access to it
Motherhood should not require you to become a stranger to your own body.
Your pussy has a history.
She has a language.
Which speaks the whole story of what she has lived through.
And Mother Tongue is an invitation to finally sit down and meet her.
join mother tongueYou leave knowing your own pussy like a mother tongue.
You will  know what she looks like. You will be able to trace her stories through her scars. You'll know the places that feel tender. The places that feel numb. The places that feel fucking delicious.
You know how to touch her so that you can bring your juice back and space for your sexual energy to come back in. Â
And more importantly you will honour the the emotional, spiritual and physiological changes that have happened through conception - pregnancy - birth.
Â
i'm comingWhat people are saying...
Mother Tongue is calling you if…
- Your vulva has felt unfamiliar since giving birth.
- You have torn, scarred, birthed, healed or changed, but nobody ever really helped you understand what happened to this part of your body.
- You feel disconnected from your root, even if you cannot quite explain why.
- You feel touched-out or braced.
- Sex feels pressured, distant, mechanical or simply not that interesting right now.
- You are tired of thinking about your pussy only in relation to sex, pain, birth or somebody else.
- You want to understand the body you’re actually living in.
- You want an experience that belongs wholly to you.
- You want to feel curious again.
- You want to know this part of yourself deeply.
Or perhaps nothing is “wrong”.
You simply want to spend two and a half hours learning about, touching, honouring and loving the hell out of your own pussy.
That is reason enough.
I'm inWhat you leave with:
Â
- You leave actually knowing the landscape between your thighs. Where things are. What changed. Where you scarred. What feels tender, numb, sensitive, pleasurable or simply unfamiliar.
- You leave having looked at your vulva properly, not clinically or critically, but with your full attention.
-  You leave having put your own hands on the places birth touched. Your vulva. Your perineum. Your scars. Your tissues. Not to fix them. To finally know them.
- You leave knowing how to touch yourself without turning it into sex, performance or another thing to achieve. A simple ritual of oil, warmth, attention + touch that you can return to again and again.
- You leave more able to recognise what your body is actually saying. That feels good. That feels numb. Softer. Slower. Not there. More here. Stop. Yes.
- You leave with a way of interrupting the strange disappearance from your own body that motherhood can create. A practice that brings your attention back from everybody else’s needs and into your own flesh.
- You leave having heard other mothers speak openly about the things we are almost never given language for. Scars. Changed sensation. Birth. Pleasure. Numbness. Pussy. The weirdness, beauty and enormity of living in a body after motherhood.
And perhaps most importantly:
you leave no longer waiting to “feel like yourself again.”
You stop trying to resurrect the woman who existed before birth.
Stop postponing your body until the children are older.
Stop assuming intimacy with yourself will somehow return when life gets quieter.
Instead, you meet the woman who is here now.
More informed. More sensate. More intimate with your own flesh.
Yes, please
Who am I?
Hi, I'm Grace. I've spent over a decade studying and working at the intersection of women’s sexuality, somatics, embodiment, the nervous system and erotic wellbeing.
I’ve had the honour of working with 1000’s of women to understand and experience their bodies through physiology, sensation, touch and relationship, rather than pressure, performance or fixing.
And then I became a mother.
Birth changed my own body.
Motherhood changed my relationship with touch, time, desire, boundaries, energy and what it meant to inhabit myself while being needed so completely by somebody else.
So Mother Tongue sits at the meeting point of both:
years of professional study and practice, and the lived reality of inhabiting a body transformed by motherhood.
I’m not here to tell you how your vulva should feel. I am not the authority on your body.
You are.
My role is to give you the education, language, guidance and yet also a hands on, devotional, and healing container to help you meet her for yourself.
Your questions and considerations, answered...
What happens in the workshop? What’s the structure?
Can I join if I had a c-section?
Can I bring my kids?
What if I feel disconnected from my body, pleasure or sexuality?
I’m scared, is this like searching your pussy for trauma?
What’s the benefit of taking Mother Tongue?
My birth was years ago. Is it too late?
Mother, come get fluent in the language of your root.
